We  ensure the highest standards of safety, coaching and on-site facilities – attracting open water swimmers through reassurance of the quality of service they expect to experience. Our lakes are all British Bathing Directive accredited.

All open water session times and venues are listed below and do not require booking for you to come and enjoy a swim in our lakes – just pop down and see us on the day!

Sessions and coaching run weekdays and cater for a variety of ages, skills and abilities.

Weald Place Pool offers:

This stunning lake boasts an impressive 1000m loop in one direction! This is the perfect lake for any budding open water swimmer or triathlete.

Saturdays 5pm – 7pm

Chipstead lake will provide:

  • 1000m circuit
  • 400m circuit
  • Bbq’s, refreshments at the Sailing Club bar and picnics
  • Non wetsuit swims
  • Junior swimming
  • Wetsuit hire and purchase
  • Open water training and coaching for all levels including juniors
  • Working in association with local BTF Level 3 coaches
  • Tutor and coach assessor centre
  • Heated changing rooms with cafe, bar and showers
  • Free ample parking

You will need a TriSwim annual membership to swim at Chipstead lake, no non membership swimming.

Upon your first visit we will require every swimmer to undertake a short assessment with a coach which will cover the basics of open water safety, sighting the designated swimming buoys, and a 400m swim with a safety kayak. This is due to the sheer size and depth of Chipstead Sailing Lake, and to ensure all swimmers are safe. You can purchase a membership with assessment, or just purchase an assessment here: Assessment

If you are part of a triathlon club, an experienced open water swimming  or hold a valid BTF/Triathlon England/ASA membership – you will still need to undergo the assessment in order to meet health and safety guidelines at the lake. You can purchase your membership and assessment at the lake, but we cannot guarantee that there will be enough space for an assessment if you do not book in advance.

You will then be issued with an annual membership which you will use to sign in and out of each swim.

If you are unable to complete the assessment and would like to book a 1 to 1 coaching course to bring you up to speed, we will reduce the price by 50% for your first session (normally £60 per hour).

This stunning lake is our spiritual homeland and is set in beautiful countryside surroundings. This is the perfect lake for families, beginners, nervous, wild swimmers and athletes looking to complete drill and speed sets.

Visitors to Honnington Farm do not need an assessment or membership – membership is optional, however you will not have access to our other beautiful lakes!

You do not need to undergo an assessment to swim at Honnington Farm as it’s under 400m, you only need to book an assessment if you wish to swim at Chipstead Lake due to it’s size and depth.

Set in Haysden Country Park, this beautiful lake is surrounded by woodland with a 5km trail run up to Penshurst Place for those looking to add brick sessions to their swim.

A parking ticket needs to be purchased either at the machines located at Haysden Country Park, or using the text/phone number provided at the lake parking (Parking costs £1).

Set in the stunning ground of Hever Castle, Hever Lake boasts an impressive 400m, 750m and 1500m swimming loop and plays host to two of the biggest and most successful triathlons in the country; The Gauntlet and Bastion hosted by Castle Triathlon Series

TriSwim will be hosting guided swims and triathlon preparation coaching days at Hever Castle throughout summer on selected dates on Saturdays and Tuesdays 5pm – 7pm. We regret that this year we will not be running regular open water swimming sessions outside of these selected days.

All visitors to TriSwim venues will be required to purchase an annual membership for £15 which gains you access for a calendar year to ALL TriSwim venues, including our indoor pool based in Sevenoaks. Children under 10 can be added to your membership for free provided they swim under your care at ALL times. If you wish your child to swim solo, they will need an assessment and membership (£30).

Free parking, changing facilities, toilets, coaching, wetsuit hire and purchase. £6 per swim entry. We regret that we cannot  sell or offer refreshments at Hever Castle due to existing catering contracts – so please bring your own.

Parking is via the gated entrance in front of the castle. Last swimming entry is strictly 8.30am and the code for the gate will stop working after 8.30am. All swimmers to exit the water at 9am, and be off site by 9.15am. There is strictly no admittance to Hever grounds during swimming or after the session.
