Caroline Hurley

Owner of Swimming Without Barriers, is a qualified STA Level 2 Open Water Swimming and STA Level 2 Swimming teacher.

We are delighted to have Caroline join the Triswim team to provide open water swimming coaching for the deaf community.

Having faced many barriers herself, her aim is to help break these down. Her passion is to organise gatherings of swimmers with similar disabilities, or those who want to be part of a group to enable them to enjoy swimming without feeling embarrassed, anxious or ashamed of their skills and experience.

Lake Manager – Lifeguard

I love being at the lakes and helping others to enjoy the lakes too – it is truly my happy place, even in the rain! I also love the administration side of the business, so if you have any questions about memberships or swim tickets, feel free to ask me.

Lake Manager – Lifeguard

Being a keen open water swimming myself, I derive much pleasure from my role within TriSwim and being surrounded by like-minded people and encouraging them to love open water swimming as much as I do.
If you are looking for advice, tips and support as you journey into open water swimming, feel free to ask me!
(I will get you some updated photo’s of keith and I. I would like our photo to be done together)

Head Lifeguard at Bewl Water

Hi, I’m the new head lifeguard at Bewl Water! I’ve been a Lifeguard for little under 2 years and have enjoyed every minute. I became a lifeguard because of my passion of being in the water and wanting to help and support the people around me.

I hope to pursue my lifeguarding career, gain experience working with all kinds of people in ever-changing environments and then going on to train to become a police officer.

I can’t wait to meet all of you and get stuck in!

Head Lifeguard at Chipstead and Haysden

I have spent my whole life either in or by the water! I’m even studying for a BSc degree in Sports Management at a university by the sea, which I hope will enable me to pursue a management career within sporting events and tourism (a career which TriSwim is supporting me in developing).

As a Level 2 swimming teacher and competitive swimmer who has over the years achieved national competition level in open water and regional /county medalist in the pool, working within the TriSwim team I get to continue my love and passion for swimming by supporting, encouraging and sharing my experiences with like-minded people who join us to relax, unwind or train.

If you need a bit of reassurance, encouragement, tips on technique or someone to tell you the temperature of the water, I’m your guy!
